On March 31st, The Buffalo News featured a terrific article about Julie Pace. She’s now the AP Washington Bureau chief, and doing well in that city. The article can be read on the website of The Buffalo News. Many of you alums knew her at Amherst. She was a member of ABC Bel Canto in one of the early years, and was one of our peppy enthusiastic choristers. As the Associated Press’ Washington Bureau chief, Buffalo native Julie Pace is one of the most influential journalists in Washington.The site shows her as she runs the morning meeting at the AP office in Washington, D.C. Pace, a Buffalo native, is one of the most influential journalists in Washington, and one of the most scrutinized. The 37-year-old Amherst High School graduate is the Washington bureau chief for the Associated Press. That puts her in charge of about 100 journalists and staff.
